About The Role:

Due to internal movement we are now seeking a Communications Specialist to join our Internal Communications team. This is an exciting opportunity for a communications professional who enjoys creating engaging content, building strong collaborator relationships and helping colleagues stay connected with what's happening across the business.

As part of a collaborative communications function, you'll play an important role in shaping and delivering employee communications that inform, engage and inspire our people. You'll work closely with team members from across the business to create high-quality content, support communications campaigns and ensure key messages are delivered effectively through the right channels.

This role is ideal for someone looking to take the next step in their communications career, developing their expertise in a corporate environment while gaining exposure to a wide range of business initiatives and audiences.

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Creating and delivering engaging internal communications across a range of channels, including email, intranet, web, video and print.
  • Producing clear, compelling and accurate content that keeps colleagues informed and connected.
  • Building meaningful partnerships with collaborators and subject matter authorities throughout the company to gather and develop communications content.
  • Supporting the delivery of employee-focused campaigns and cyclical communications activities, including people-related initiatives and key business updates.
  • Ensuring communications adhere to agreed governance, approval processes and brand standards.
  • Reviewing and proofreading content, maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Supporting effective planning and scheduling of communications activity across the organisation.
  • Working collaboratively with colleagues across the wider communications team to deliver a consistent and coordinated employee experience.

About You

You'll be comfortable working in a busy environment, handling multiple priorities and adapting to changing business needs. Most importantly, you'll take ownership of your work, demonstrate sound judgement and be someone that colleagues enjoy partnering with. This is a delivery-focused role rather than a communications strategy position, making it a great opportunity for someone who enjoys being hands-on while continuing to build their communications expertise and influence.

Whilst not essential, we'd welcome applications from candidates who hold, or are working towards, a professional communications qualification, accreditation or membership with a recognised body such as the Institute of Internal Communication (IoIC) or the Chartered Institute of Public Relations (CIPR).
