The main purpose of the Business Partner role is to support our Partners achieve shared objectives. The Business Partner is responsible for appropriate and efficient engagement across with our partnerships supporting a self-service model and signposting to the centralised support functions available. In this role you'll be required to actively support performance of these practices in line with corporate and regulatory guidelines and regularly review eligibility.
What you'll be doing:
- Monitor and support the performance of Partners to ensure profitability of the segment
- Ensure priority businesses receive support to strengthen their business
- Lead Partner service and engagement strategy for the small business segment in alignment with overall SJP Partner 'offer'
- Provide an efficient and digital enabled single point of contact to all small practices, inspiring maximum use of self service.
- Drive performance in the segment through entrepreneurship support, business set up, directing SJP resources, etc.
- Coach the commercial Performance of Small Partner businesses in support of the Adviser Performance Strategic Initiative.
- Ensure Partner sentiment targets are met based on service / engagement
- Review, measure and assess the effectiveness of relationships and tangible return on investment of each Partner business.
Skills we are looking for:
- Skilled coach with Certificate in Advanced Coaching and Mentoring or equivalent experience
- Ability to effectively consult on challenging situations and provide appropriate and constructive feedback.
- Responsible for supporting the output and performance of the Partnership in line with our values and principles of treating our clients fairly.
- Has a clear understanding of the breadth of the SJP Proposition and the needs of our partnerships.
- Demonstrable experience of building rapport and strong relationships that are collaborative and deliver great outcomes
- Well-developed coaching skills
- Ability to communicate at all levels
- Good analytical and decision-making skills underpinned by informed sound judgement
- Ability to organise time and workload effectively and meet deadlines
Special Requirements:
- Willingness to travel to our partner offices on average three days a week
