Part-Time Paraplanner

Hours: Part time; approx. 20-25 per week, negotiable

Location: Remote

Salary: up to £45,000 FTE depending on experience.

An SJP Partner Practice is looking to appoint an experienced Paraplanner to join their small but growing team, working part time and remotely. The Practice is highly successful and prides itself on offering a first-class service to all their clients, providing them with a range of investment and retirement products and solutions to meet their financial goals and objectives.

As the Paraplanner, you will focus on the whole client journey, providing technical expertise throughout the advice process, undertaking detailed research and analysis to produce a wide variety of financial planning solutions. You will always strive to produce well thought out, meaningful and compliant financial planning reports that demonstrate your attention to detail and understanding of client needs.

The Role:

  • You will be working closely with the Advisor, producing suitability reports and advice sets, providing documentation and illustrations for Client meetings.
  • Conduct research to source suitable solutions, completing detailed and informative reports.
  • You will be inputting and maintaining detailed client information to support the Advisor team as well as ensuring supporting documentation and back-office systems are maintained and all client files remain compliant.
  • You will provide an efficient and professional point of contact for clients.
  • You will be processing cases and transacting client investments, and liaising with SJP admin teams.

Paraplanner Requirements:

  • You should be an experienced Paraplanner with great report writing skills.
  • Level 4 Diploma is desirable but not required if you have good paraplanning experience.
  • You will have experience of Life, Pension, and Investment products.
  • Team fit is important, the practice has a positive approach to work/life balance, and are looking for like-minded individuals.
