An excellent and very interesting opportunity has arisen for an ambitious Junior Paraplanner to work within a highly successful Partner Practice. Your role will include collating client information, researching, preparing suitability letters, illustrations and reports for client meetings, managing cases to completion, and working with internal processing systems.
The Role:
- Dealing with a wide variety of administrative tasks supporting your colleagues and clients of the Practice
- Compiling detailed reports and portfolio reviews using key data
- Dealing with enquiries and correspondence from clients and providers by email and phone
- Managing the database of clients
- Processing new business applications for all products using bespoke software, liaising with SJP admin teams to resolve queries
- Sending out letters of authority to companies and chasing up their replies
- Using Salesforce CRM to accurately record all client activity, adhering to compliance guidelines
- Producing high quality client correspondence using templated software
- Report writing for all products
- Analysis of clients’ plans using different software systems
- Preparing client illustrations
The Person:
- This is an interesting and challenging role that would suit a confident, numerate, IT proficient and professional individual who enjoys using their initiative and who has a ‘can do’ working style.
- You will have experience of working within a Partner Practice of St. James's Place in an administrative or technical role.
- You may be working towards the Level 4 DipPFS qualification or equivalent, you may already hold it or have aspirations to want to become qualified in the future.
- Training and development to obtain the DipPFS qualification is available if you are not already qualified.
- You will need to have some experience of the administration of Pension and Investment products.
- You are highly organised, can prioritise your workload and have excellent communication skills.
- You will have contact with clients, and it is essential that you are confident in dealing with third parties and can work with total discretion.
