About the role
The Marketing Support Coordinator will support the marketing needs of the St. James's Place Partnership by reviewing a variety of Partner created materials, assessing requests to seek clarification where needed to ensure accuracy and alignment with best practices. All marketing materials must uphold brand standards, be assessed for potential classification as Financial Promotions, and meet both internal and regulatory requirements, working closely with stakeholders to ensure compliance. The Coordinator will provide administrative support to the team and Partners, answering enquiries by phone and email and guide Partners to self-serve marketing tools including the use of pre-approved materials.
The Coordinator will lead multiple cases efficiently, keeping Partners and stakeholders informed throughout. Accurate audit trails must be maintained for all requests, using the case management system effectively.
What you'll be doing
- Reviewing and assessing marketing requests from the Partnership.
- Ensuring all marketing promotions uphold brand guidelines and meet internal and regulatory compliance standards.
- Providing guidance on marketing allowances, paid-for packages, and available self-serve marketing tools.
- Managing multiple marketing cases efficiently, keeping Partners and stakeholders informed at every stage.
- Maintaining accurate audit trails and records within the case management system.
- Building strong working knowledge of all marketing channels, including advertising, editorials, promotional literature, social media, and digital platforms.
- Liaising with specialist marketing teams and internal departments for technical or compliance input.
- Promoting a right-first-time approach to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of Partner marketing activity.
Essential Criteria:
- Strong Microsoft Office and administrative skills.
- Genuine interest in marketing and marketing channels.
- Strong analytical skills and excellent attention to detail (able to proof read)
- Strong interpersonal skills – confident dealing with Partners.
Desirable Criteria:
- An understanding of the SJP submission process through existing SJP or Partner experience.
- SJP business knowledge.
