Responsibilities and Qualifications

  • Experience of teaching within the EYFS (essential)
  • Strong knowledge of early reading and phonics, including experience of the Little Wandle programme
  • Understanding of continuous provision
  • Understanding of the Mastering Number approach (desirable)
  • Evidence of successful teaching experience
  • Ability to support and help develop a vision for outstanding education which promotes spiritual, moral and cultural development

St James' C of E Primary School is looking to recruit a reflective, dynamic individual to join our dedicated team. An exciting opportunity has arisen to be part of our EYFS team, teaching our Reception class on a two-term fixed-term contract to cover maternity leave starting in September. The successful candidate will play an integral role in ensuring that every child reaches their full potential by developing a love for learning within a vibrant, exciting classroom environment.
