We are looking for an enthusiastic and skilled educator to fill our 0.2 learning support coordinator position, which is currently covered within the school. We are a multicultural school and a staff committed to inclusive practice, and we are seeking someone who can further enhance the strong foundation we already have in place. The successful candidate needs to be a team player who is able to communicate and value strengths across the team.
Responsibilities
- Work collaboratively with kaiako, whānau, and external agencies to support students with diverse learning needs
- Help strengthen systems and processes that promote inclusive, responsive practice
- Contribute positively to our school culture and uphold our values of respect, excellence, compassion and responsibility
- Bring strong communication skills, professionalism, and a solutions-focused approach
- Demonstrate a commitment to ongoing learning and culturally responsive practice
- Accept the condition to support, uphold and be positively involved in the special catholic character of the school
