Company Description: St. James Research Centre (SJRC), established by Global Family Care Network in Scotland, focuses on equipping leaders to conduct research and implement programs in community-based development, modern slavery prevention, rehabilitation for survivors of human trafficking, and orphan care. Accredited by the British Accreditation Council, SJRC is located in Falkirk, Scotland, within a historic setting near various local amenities. The Centre is connected to a global network of professionals specializing in anti-trafficking, community development, and caregiving initiatives. SJRC and Global Family emphasize evidence-based approaches to strengthening families, preventing trafficking, and providing services to vulnerable populations.
This spring, we are building a global digital team to support anti–human trafficking, child protection, and family preservation efforts through strategic storytelling, ethical marketing, and digital infrastructure. Hosted by St. James Research Centre in partnership with Global Family Care Network, this is a 3-month, project-based experiential internship offering real responsibility, mentorship, and hands-on experience working on global initiatives.
Location: Falkirk, Scotland - on-site (housing available upon request)
Duration: March 10 through May 28, 2026
Weekly Schedule: Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday from 10 am to 5 pm
Available Intern Roles:
- Social Media Strategist Intern (2): Execute daily posting and scheduling. Respond to comments and messages. Maintain a consistent online presence. Support campaign launches.
- Video Producer / Editor Intern (1): Edit short-form video for Reels, Shorts, TikTok, and LinkedIn. Repurpose long-form content. Support campaign and founder-led messaging. Ensure ethical, trauma-informed storytelling. Portfolio required (2–3 samples).
- Content & Storytelling Intern (1): Write posts and stories. Ensure messaging is clear, respectful, and ethical. Support donor, partner, and campaign communications.
- Digital Campaign & Strategy Intern (1): Support planning and coordination of campaigns. Align content, video, and web efforts. Track timelines and assist with launches.
- Analytics & Reporting Intern (1): Track growth and engagement. Prepare simple reports. Identify what is working and support data-informed decisions.
- CSR & Partnerships Intern (1): Research aligned partners. Support outreach and follow-up. Assist with impact documentation.
- Full-Stack Web / Digital Experience Intern (1): Build and optimize landing pages and websites. Support campaign launches. Implement analytics and conversion tracking. HTML, CSS, JavaScript required. Portfolio or GitHub (2–3 examples) required.
