St James’ Catholic High School, located at St James’ Way, Cheadle Hulme, Cheadle, Cheshire SK8 6PZ, is seeking a Learning Support Assistant. This position is Scale 4 (£17,090 - £18,215 per annum), part-time (28 hours), term time only, and permanent, with a start date of September 2026.

The Role: The governors of the school are looking for a Learning Support Assistant to join our popular and oversubscribed 11-16 mixed comprehensive Catholic High School, where all aspects were judged to be either of an expected or strong standard by OFSTED in April 2026. Applications are welcome regardless of the personal faith of the applicant, provided they are supportive of the school’s Catholic ethos.
