To be able to co-ordinate and deliver outstanding person centered nursing care in a professional manner to the home\’s residents with general and dementia nursing needs based upon best practice and current standards and guidelines.Responsible for the administration of prescribed medication in accordance and the home\’s procedures and the NMC guidelines.Work as part of an effective team.
Responsibilities
- Deliver prescribed care to a defined group within an agreed framework. Assess, plan and deliver, with the patient and their carer/family, nursing care which takes account of patient choice and wishes and acting as the patients named nurse.
- Accurately observe and engage with patients in order to assess need and evaluate progress.
- Monitor and review Nursing Care plans.
Skills and Qualifications
- Live registration with NMC.
- All mandatory training completed within last 12 months or willingness to attend any updates required by us.
- Agreement to an Access NI Enhanced disclosure check.
- Evidence of ability to provide and promote high quality nursing care through recent experience and satisfactory reference.
- Eligibility to work in the UK and currently reside in Northern Ireland.
- Minimum of 12 months\’ recent experience working in a Care Home.
