Your Passion
- To have a full operational knowledge of all hall porter services and procedures including valet parking.
- To receive guests vehicles, issue receipt for the car and drive it to and from the car park when required.
- To assist guests with luggage on arrival and departure.
- To store and retrieve luggage as required and follow all procedures in relation to this task, including recording luggage deliveries and storage.
- To assist in obtaining taxis for hotel guests and patrons.
- To sign for and record deliveries, book local transport and answer general questions.
- To offer guests comprehensive information on local amenities, transport amenities and services.
- To provide the highest guest experience possible by using professional interaction skills at all times and to handle guest feedback effectively.
- To work as part of a team and show support and encouragement to colleagues.
- To keep the lobby and the hotel and its entrances clean, tidy and free of litter.
- To ensure correct manual handling techniques are followed at all times.
- To sign in and out of every shift.
- To carry out any other reasonable request at any time from Management.
Your Personality
- First experience in the field of room cleaning would be desirable; career changers are welcome.
- Must have a full and clean driver licence.
- Friendly appearance and good manners.
- Flexibility, reliability and trustworthiness.
- Great teamwork skills.
- Any equivalent combination of experience and training that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities is acceptable.
