We are seeking to appoint a committed and skilled Higher Level Teaching Assistant to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in supporting teaching and learning across St James'.
Key responsibilities include:
- Delivering planned lessons in the absence of the class teacher
- Supporting pupils’ learning across the primary range
- Working with individuals and groups, including pupils with SEND
- Contributing to assessment, planning and pupil progress
- Supporting the wider life of the school
We are looking for someone who:
- Holds HLTA status or equivalent experience
- Has strong classroom practice and behaviour management skills
- Is flexible, proactive and highly organised
- Can work effectively as part of a team
