St. James is a ‘Good’ Church of England primary school at the heart of the village communities of East and West Hanney, Oxfordshire. We are seeking a kind and passionate teacher who can develop a sense of curiosity, adventure and empathy in our pupils through our engaging school curriculum. The successful candidate will be a teacher who can inspire our pupils and has the energy and creativity to support the Christian ethos of the school.
St. James CE Primary School is part of the Cambrian Learning Trust, with a number of schools located within one community, enabling leaders and staff to work collaboratively and efficiently together. There is an extensive professional network across the Trust which supports and enhances collaboration, research and learning opportunities for pupils, staff and parents. We are looking for a teacher who:

- Demonstrates experience and knowledge of teaching and learning in and outside of the classroom
- Demonstrates an ability to nurture and support all pupils, including those with complex learning, emotional or other needs

- Has excellent interpersonal skills and is able to communicate well with colleagues, parents and pupils
- Has good organisational skills
- Ensures safeguarding is a priority at St James and will promote staff and pupil well-being
