The Role

As Restaurant Manager, you will be responsible for the smooth and efficient running of the restaurant operation, delivering high service standards while driving revenue, team engagement, and operational excellence.

You will work closely with the wider hotel management team to create memorable guest experiences and maintain a positive, high-performing culture.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage the restaurant team on a daily basis
  • Deliver exceptional guest service and maintain high hospitality standards
  • Manage staffing levels, rotas, and labour costs effectively
  • Recruit, train, coach, and develop team members
  • Ensure compliance with food safety, health & safety, and licensing regulations
  • Drive sales and maximise profitability through excellent operational control
  • Handle guest feedback professionally and resolve issues promptly
  • Monitor stock control, ordering, and wastage
  • Work collaboratively with the kitchen and wider hotel teams
  • Maintain high standards of cleanliness, presentation, and atmosphere
  • Support the delivery of events, private dining, and hotel functions where required

What We’re Looking For

  • Previous experience as a Restaurant Manager or Assistant Restaurant Manager within a hotel or high-quality hospitality environment
  • Strong leadership and people management skills
  • Passion for hospitality and delivering outstanding guest experiences
  • Commercial awareness and understanding of restaurant financials
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills
  • Ability to lead by example and motivate a team
  • Calm under pressure with a proactive, solution-focused approach
  • Knowledge of food safety and licensing regulations
