The role is responsible for delivering high-quality management accounts, leading budgeting and forecasting, overseeing accounts payable, and ensuring strong financial controls and compliance with charity and regulatory requirements. You will also lead the annual audit process and provide clear financial insight to support decision-making across the organisation.

Alongside your technical expertise, you will act as a trusted partner to colleagues across the school, helping non-finance stakeholders understand and manage budgets effectively, while leading and developing the finance team.

The successful candidate will be a fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA or CIMA) with strong experience in financial reporting, audit and analysis, ideally gained in an education or charitable setting. You will be analytical, detail-oriented, and able to communicate financial information clearly, with a collaborative and proactive approach.
