Responsibilities
- Cover the start of the day and register/dismiss students in class
- Teach the content of lessons set by the absent teacher
- Ensure students remain on task
- Mark any completed work in accordance with school policy
- Ensure high standards of behaviour in line with school policy
- Supervise students during break/lunch periods
- Support school events (often after school or on Saturdays)
- Promote and safeguard the welfare of students and adhere to and ensure compliance with the School's Safeguarding and Child Protection Policy
- Work within the School's health and safety policy to ensure a safe environment for staff, students and visitors
