The CWLA teams are responsible for the care planning, safety and successful outcomes for children who are in our care long term. The CWLA Service benefits from an experienced, stable and committed management team, a supportive network of colleagues and an infrastructure that enables successful social work. We are committed to working as a close knit and integrated team to deliver the best outcomes for our children.
Following the promotion of two of our employees, we now have 2 Social Work positions available in CWLA. For both of these posts we welcome applications from both newly qualified or experienced social workers and will support you on your social work journey whatever stage you join us. The St Helens Social Work Academy is in place to support you at every stage of your social work career with St Helens, helping on your social work journey and achieving better outcomes for our children and families. The 12 month AYSE Programme is well established in St Helens, providing newly qualified social workers with the opportunity to develop skills and confidence in a structured and supportive environment.
