Learning Assistant Level 3 – Upper Key Stage 2

The Governors of this warm, dynamic, ambitious school are looking to appoint a hardworking, caring and enthusiastic Learning Assistant Level 3 to work in our Upper Key Stage 2 department to provide learning support for our pupils. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a supportive environment where professional development is encouraged, and every child is valued.
Working hours: 8:15am – 4:00pm (Mon, Wed, Thu, Fri) and 8:15am-4:45pm (Tue – for staff meetings).
Responsibilities
- Take ownership of tailoring learning and resources to the child/children they work with.
- Work as part of a team and collaborate to support pupils’ learning.
- Be flexible and willing to be involved in the wider life of the school.
- Support safeguarding and promote the welfare of children.
- Think creatively to meet pupils’ needs and work towards overcoming barriers to learning.
