We are seeking to appoint an inspiring and enthusiastic Senior Learning Assistant to support pupils at Cowley International College in one of our Inclusive Pathways programmes. The primary purpose of the Senior Learning Assistant is to complement the professional work of qualified teachers by taking responsibility for learning activities under an agreed system of supervision. They will have a significant role to play in the planning, delivery and monitoring of learning activities, encouraging pupils to become independent learners while providing appropriate support.

Our Inclusive Pathways are a suite of curriculum interventions for Key Stage 3 and 4 students. The Pathways are built around a reflective curriculum delivered alongside timetabled lessons, embedding routine and confidence in learning. A small team of teaching staff and Senior Learning Assistants support pupils through a specialised programme that helps them succeed in high quality external qualifications.
