Ashurst Primary School is seeking a teaching assistant with a passion for supporting children with social, emotional and mental health needs (SEMH) to work under the SEMH Teacher and SENCO in building positive relationships with the children; with the aim of steering them back into mainstream school when they are ready.
The role involves working as part of a team and delivering individualised learning on a 1:1 basis, focusing on managing behaviour, developing self-regulation and social-emotional skills.
