If you prefer to learn by ‘doing,’ then an apprenticeship may be the right thing for you. Apprenticeships are a fantastic way to develop your skills and experience, combining practical on-the-job training alongside studying and obtaining recognised work-related qualifications. One of the many benefits is that you will get paid while you complete the qualification!
If you would like to make a difference, have an active interest in leisure, are reliable, enthusiastic, and willing to learn, then we will train you to support key roles including lifeguard, fitness instructor, swimming instructor, and sports coach, whilst supporting you to gain your national pool lifeguard qualification.
At Go Active, we think recruitment decisions should be two-way, which is why we are inviting you to book onto our open day sessions for an informal 1-hour meet and greet with the team. Bookings will be taking place at our Newton le Willows Site on 7th September 2026. We aim to foster an inclusive experience to allow you to demonstrate how you meet the criteria for our roles.
