Located in the heart of the Northwest close to Liverpool, Manchester and Lancashire, St Helens is a transformational Council which is passionate and ambitious for the communities we support. The Educational Psychology Service is looking for three creative, dynamic and enthusiastic individuals to join us. In addition to undertaking statutory work, the service aims to expand in order to respond to ever increasing demands for our service. Our ambition is to develop a core offer to schools and broaden the range of work undertaken by our Educational Psychologists, with an emphasis on early intervention and prevention. You will have the opportunity to work within the service across all settings and age groups from 0-25 years.

- Have excellent interpersonal and communication skills including an ability to write meaningful and user-friendly feedback following EP involvement.
- Have excellent time management and personal organisational skills.
- Have a strong commitment to delivering consultation in order to reach collaborative solutions and bring new perspectives.
- Use psychology creatively and ensure children’s outcomes are always the central focus.
- Are committed to supporting the inclusion of vulnerable children and young people and proactive in developing inclusive, person-centred / strengths-based approaches that enhance confidence, emotional wellbeing and support children and young people to flourish.
- Are able to self-reflect and evaluate performance.
- Are able to work successfully within a multi-disciplinary team.
- Are confident in using online tools and aware of digital technologies.
