At St Helens we are dedicated to providing an excellent pest and animal control service to our residents and are looking to recruit a motivated individual with experience in animal-related services to take on the position of Animal Health & Control Team Lead.

The postholder will be responsible for the day-to-day management of our pest control service, dog welfare and enforcement service, and animal health and licensing functions. They will have a key role in providing support to enable the delivery of our services to the residents and businesses of St Helens.

This role will involve coordinating the daily operation of the pest control and animal health functions ensuring high-quality service delivery whilst maintaining excellent customer satisfaction. In addition to overseeing the daily operations of the team, the post holder will be expected to undertake some animal health functions such as the inspection and licensing of animal establishments.

The successful applicant will need to hold a current full UK Driving License and be willing to work outside normal hours if required.
