Have you the experience of creating Individual Support Plans and supporting learners with their academic work and Wellbeing? Are you looking for a role within Further Education? If yes, this could be the role for you! In this role, you would provide high quality support to college students and liaise with colleagues and external agencies in order to meet the College\’s mission, aims and objectives. As a Learning Support Tutor (SEMH), you will be responsible for:
Responsibilities
- Undertaking referrals for learners with additional needs
- The development and writing of Individual Learning Support Plans
- Undertaking 1:1 skills development tutorials
- Undertaking 1:1 SEMH sessions (Mental health & Wellbeing)
- Liaising with colleagues, parents and external agencies
- Making referrals to external agencies
Qualifications
- Relevant teaching qualification for post-16 Education
- Relevant SEMH / Mental Health support qualification
