St Helens College and Knowsley Community College are seeking to appoint a dynamic and self-motivated individual to the role of Lecturer in Plumbing. This is an exciting opportunity to join an expanding area of the curriculum, which boasts continued learner success and achievement.

The successful candidate must work within the department to support the success, achievement and enjoyment of our learners on our Plumbing programmes. The drive to develop curriculum, maintain excellent employer links and provide progression opportunities to our current curriculum offer is a necessity. We are looking for an outstanding staff member to complement and enhance our existing structure and be part of a team that supports colleagues and students.

The successful candidate must:

  • Have experience of teaching and motivating FE students.
  • Hold a relevant degree; a higher degree is desirable.
  • Have a relevant teaching qualification or equivalent teaching qualification.
  • Have GCSE Maths and English (A*-C).
  • Be well organised with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
