Making a Difference as Assistant Team Manager in Children’s Services
This is a pivotal role in our teams, supporting the management of, and leading a team of qualified social care staff and support workers, who undertake children’s social care safeguarding assessments, support, and intervention services to vulnerable children.
Qualifications & Experience
- Knowledge and understanding of relevant legislation and associated guidance with reference to the Council's duties and responsibilities.
- Knowledge and understanding of complex child protection issues.
- Knowledge and understanding of child development and the impact of abuse and deprivation on development and an understanding of the concept of working in partnership with families.
- A minimum of 3 years post-qualification experience in a social work setting including child protection work.
