St Cuthberts Catholic High School is seeking an honest, reliable and enthusiastic person to join our busy school office team to support our inclusive ethos and effective Teaching & Learning. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a supportive environment where professional development is encouraged, and every child is valued.

We are looking for someone who:

The role will involve reception duties, being the first point of call for visitors to the school upholding the needs for the security of the building and students; recording and taking telephone messages; providing basic information and generating and sending standard information; directing enquiries to appropriate officers or redirecting to departments or agencies.
To carry out clerical tasks including photocopying, filing, emailing and completion of documentation and respond to correspondence using standard letters/formats. To carry out and be responsible for the upkeep of manual records and the inputting of computerised records and filing systems using a variety of software. To undertake typing and word processing as required. Be aware of and comply with school policies relating to child protection, health & safety, confidentiality and data protection.

Hours: 37 hours per week, term time only plus 5 days (39 weeks), 8.00am - 4:00pm Mon-Thurs and 8:00am - 3:30pm on Fri.
