When we think of what keeps a school running smoothly, there is an essential group who do not go unnoticed – school cleaners. Cleaners aren’t just part of the school; they are essential to how it operates. Cleaners are the backbone of a healthy, safe environment. Without them, classrooms would be unhygienic, illness would spread more easily, and students wouldn’t have the clean spaces they need to focus. Our Cleaners ensure that classroom, communal spaces, corridors and offices are clean and clutter free. That’s why we want to shine a light on the crucial role of our cleaners, and invite you along to join us at one of upcoming informal Recruitment Sessions to find out more. Our term time roles are perfect for individuals seeking part time work so if you’re ready to be part of something meaningful and dependable, we’d love to have you join us at one of our events. We are holding informal meet and greet sessions at Legh Vale Primary School to discuss cleaning opportunities across our St Helens School Network.
Events will be taking place on:
- Wednesday 12th November 4.00pm – 6.00pm
- Thursday 11th December 4.00pm – 6.00pm
At the session you will be welcomed by the team, followed by a walk round, informal chat and group Q&A session. You are invited to learn about working for Schools Traded Services, and gain more understanding on the wide range of financial benefits and rewards available when you work at St Helen\’s Council.
If you are interested to find out more, this is your opportunity to get details about current and future roles, our mobile workforce, ask questions and experience the working environment. We hope to inform you more to help you decide.
You don\’t need experience to apply for our cleaning roles as full training will be provided-If you are someone who takes pride in your work, enjoys routine, and wants to make a real difference, we want to hear from you!
For example we employ cleaners who complete anything from between 3 hours per week during term time (24,413 / = 1,979.43 per annum) up to 12 hours per week (24,413 / = 7,917.73 per annum). Come along and talk to us about what hours are currently available or register your interest for future roles.
