Nurture the Potential to Succeed. The Governors of Newton-le-Willows Primary School are seeking to appoint a skilled, caring, thoughtful and enthusiastic Learning Support Assistant to support pupils with special educational needs.
We are looking for someone who:

Experience of working with primary-aged children; supporting children with additional needs (such as ASD, ADHD) and children with challenging behaviour would be an advantage, as it is likely that the pupils you will be supporting in this role will have a SEND diagnosis and will require support when dysregulated. A TEAM TEACH qualification would also be desirable.
Post 1 = 25 hours per week, Temporary to cover a period of Maternity Leave. Post 2 = 25 Hours per week, Fixed term until 31/08/2026.

You will assist pupils so they can access the curriculum, participate in learning, and experience a sense of achievement.
