We're looking for a creative, commercially minded Lottery Marketing Officer to help grow two successful charity lotteries that raise vital funds for hospices and good causes across the UK.
This role is perfect for someone who loves graphic design, digital marketing, content creation and campaign optimisation.
You'll play a key role in recruiting new supporters, engaging existing players and helping our charity partners promote the lottery to their own audiences.
Working closely with our lottery and marketing teams, you'll deliver high-impact campaigns across digital, social media, email, web and print, helping to drive income that makes a real difference to people facing incurable illness and bereavement.
What You'll Do
- Digital Marketing & Campaign Delivery
- Plan and deliver multi-channel campaigns across social media, PPC, email and web.
- Manage and optimise paid digital activity across Meta and Google Ads.
- Support supporter acquisition, retention and engagement through targeted marketing campaigns.
- Improve website performance, supporter journeys and conversion rates.
- Support SEO activity and digital optimisation initiatives.
- Content Creation & Design
- Create compelling, audience-focused content for digital and print channels.
- Design graphics, campaign assets and marketing materials using Canva and Adobe Creative Cloud.
- Develop engaging storytelling content that demonstrates the impact of the lottery.
- Produce promotional resources that enable charity partners to market the lottery effectively.
- Insight, Reporting & Growth
- Monitor, analyse and report on campaign performance.
- Use insight and data to improve future marketing activity.
- Test and trial new ideas, formats and channels to drive supporter growth.
- Share learning and best practice with colleagues across the wider marketing team.
- Build strong relationships with lottery partners and key stakeholders.
- Support partners with marketing guidance, resources and campaign activity.
- Work collaboratively with the wider Marketing and Lottery teams to achieve shared goals.
- Ensure all activity meets brand, compliance and regulatory requirements.
What We're Looking For
- Experience delivering digital marketing campaigns across multiple channels.
- Experience managing paid social media and/or PPC campaigns.
- Strong understanding of social media platforms, digital marketing and supporter journeys.
- Ability to create high-quality marketing assets using Canva and Adobe Creative Cloud.
- Experience analysing campaign performance and using data to drive decisions.
- Excellent organisational and project management skills.
- Strong written, visual and verbal communication skills.
- Full driving licence and access to a vehicle.
- Experience working in the charity, fundraising or subscription sector.
- Knowledge of SEO, GA4, email marketing and marketing automation.
- Experience working with stakeholder or partner‑led marketing.
- Understanding of supporter retention and lifecycle marketing.
- Knowledge of the charity lottery or regulated fundraising sector.
