Are you an events and challenges fundraiser looking for a new challenge? This is a key role within our Fundraising team.
Key tasks include:
- To deliver an exceptional stewardship experience for all event and challenge participants, ensuring each supporter feels valued, informed and connected to St Helena Hospice.
- To build and maintain positive and meaningful relationships with supporters, encouraging continued engagement and long‑term involvement in St Helena.
- To work collaboratively with the community fundraising team to support individuals, groups and local partners taking part in events and challenges.
- To work closely with the corporate fundraising team to provide excellent stewardship for business supporters and employee participants.
- To contribute to the planning and delivery of hospice‑led events and external challenge activities, ensuring high‑quality supporter care throughout.
- To ensure supporters understand the difference their fundraising makes, using clear and engaging impact‑led communication.
- To deliver timely and relevant communications as part of the stewardship journey, supporting increased participation and fundraising confidence.
- To maintain accurate supporter information on the CRM system, in line with GDPR and internal data standards, supporting effective monitoring and evaluation.
- To gather feedback and insights from supporters to inform continual improvement of stewardship approaches and event delivery.
- To represent fundraising positively across the organisation, championing best practice in supporter care and helping colleagues understand the importance of excellent stewardship.
What are we looking for?
- Experience of working in corporate relationships, either in fundraising or the private sector.
- Ability to think strategically to develop relationships and partnerships in line with St Helena's goals.
- Strong communication and people management skills.
- Desire to reach and exceed targets and grow the existing Corporate Partnerships for St Helena.
