Working Monday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday 1pm to 6pm at St Elizabeth hospice in Ipswich.

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain cleanliness and tidiness across the site.
  • Maintain clinical cleaning across clinical areas of the hospice.
  • Perform role in an unpredictable environment and must change activities at others' request or on own initiative.
  • Attention to detail to ensure thorough cleaning.
  • Ability to work within a team as well as independently.
  • Time management skills to prioritise effectively.
  • Communication between other teams within the organisation, clinical and non-clinical.
  • Clean in clinical patient areas within the hospice.
  • Clean communal areas, such as toilets, kitchens, corridors and offices.
  • Sweep, mop and vacuum floors.
  • Wipe down and sanitise high contact areas and surfaces.
  • Empty bins and replace bin bags of general and clinical waste.
  • Replenish supplies i.e. toilet roll, soap and paper towels.
  • Operate in an emotional environment.
  • Follow cleaning procedures and safety guidelines.
  • Report any issues to the supervisor.
  • Adhere to company policies and regulations, including clocking in/out procedure.
  • Complete company training.
