Main duties of the job include maintaining cleanliness and tidiness across the hospice, cleaning clinical spaces, offices, toilets, and communal areas. The role requires the ability to work in a sensitive environment, key holder responsibilities, and physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks and lift heavy objects if required.

Job responsibilities include:
- Attention to detail to ensure thorough cleaning.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Time management skills to prioritise effectively.
- Sweep, mop and vacuum clean floors.
- Wipe down and sanitise contact areas and surfaces.
- Empty bins and replace bin bags.
- Replenish supplies i.e. toilet roll, linen and paper towels.
- Follow cleaning procedures and NHS safety guidelines.
- Report any issues to the supervisor.
- Adhere to company policies and regulations, including clocking in/out procedure.
- Complete company training.
