Job details

St Helena is currently looking for Bank Health Care Assistants to join our IPU hospice team. This will be working on a rota basis Monday to Sunday.

Duties include:

  • To assist Registered Nurses, Occupational Therapists and Physiotherapists in providing high standards of specialist palliative care to patients and their relatives.
  • Identify and adapt clinical support given under the varying professions guiding principles of care and be able to switch approach as directed.
  • The care will be planned and assessed by Registered Nurses and Therapists.
  • This post will include an unsocial hours payment on top of your salary.
  • Full UK driving licence is required
