There are four schools on the island; one secondary and three primaries. The curriculum broadly models the English education system.

It will be your role to lead, co-ordinate and develop Mathematics at St Helena’s Secondary School while you monitor and assess student performance and develop the tracking systems currently in place. You will plan, prepare and deliver appropriate schemes of work including key stage 3, 4 and 5 where applicable, providing high quality CPD for colleagues in Mathematics.

Managing resources and equipment you will assist primary school staff with curriculum development and offer training in the teaching of Mathematics across the primary schools. You will also contribute to the teaching of Mathematics in Adult Education.

Holding a UK teaching qualification and QTS you are qualified to degree level in Mathematics, with substantial experience of teaching.
