This is an exciting opportunity for a talented and dynamic individual to join our ambitious and high-performing Communications and Marketing team. St Helen and St Katharine is an extraordinary school with extraordinary stories. The successful candidate will play a key role in developing engaging, high-quality content and supporting the delivery of marketing and communications activity that showcases the School's achievements and supports its strategic objectives.
The postholder will bring strong expertise in digital and social media, alongside excellent copywriting skills and a flair for storytelling. They will be confident working across multiple platforms and using data and audience insights to strengthen performance and inform future activity. This is a full-time, full-year post and we are looking for the successful candidate to start work as soon as possible.
Main Responsibilities- Campaigns and planning: Support the planning and delivery of integrated marketing and communications campaigns aligned with the School's strategic priorities, particularly around student recruitment, admissions and key events.
- Social media and digital channels: Manage and develop the School's social media presence, moving beyond reactive posting to deliver planned, purposeful content aligned with recruitment and reputation objectives.
- Content creation and storytelling: Develop high-quality, engaging content that brings the spirit of the School to life, showcasing student ambition, academic excellence and the distinctive opportunities and outcomes of an all-girls education, ensuring consistency of brand, tone of voice and messaging.
- Website and SEO: Manage and optimise website content to ensure it is user-focused, up to date and aligned with SEO/GEO best practice, and create campaign and landing page content that enhances the experience of prospective families.
- Analytics and insight: Monitor and evaluate the performance of digital activity and campaigns, using data and audience insight to inform content planning and improve effectiveness.
- Press and PR: Write and distribute press releases, features and award submissions to secure positive coverage in local and national media, supporting the School's reputation and profile.
- Creative content production: Work closely with the AV and Digital Media Coordinator to plan and deliver photography and videography, including capturing day-to-day school life and key events, and coordinating external photographers where required.
- Newsletters and email communications: Produce targeted communications for prospective families and compile engaging e-newsletters for current parents.
- Publications: Support the production of key marketing materials, including prospectuses and brochures, working with external design agencies.
- Collaboration and stakeholder engagement: Work closely with colleagues across the School to identify and develop compelling stories, supporting a coordinated and proactive approach to communications.
