We are looking for an experienced and hands-on Maintenance Manager to oversee the day-to-day maintenance of a busy budget hotel near Tottenham Court Road.
The property operates under two different hotel brands and includes below-ground guest rooms.
The role will require someone who understands the practical challenges of maintaining a busy central London hotel and can ensure that guest rooms, public areas, plant rooms and back-of-house areas are kept safe, operational and well presented.
You will be responsible for planned and reactive maintenance, managing contractors, carrying out regular property inspections and ensuring that any faults or defects are dealt with quickly.
You will also support compliance checks, health and safety requirements, fire safety, water hygiene and the maintenance of key hotel systems and equipment.
The successful candidate will work closely with the hotel management and operations teams to minimise disruption to guests and ensure maintenance issues are followed through to completion.
You will also be responsible for monitoring maintenance costs, keeping accurate records and making sure contractors deliver work to the required standard.
Previous maintenance experience within a hotel or similar hospitality environment is essential.
You should have strong technical knowledge, good problem-solving skills and a practical, hands-on approach.
Experience working with electrical, plumbing, HVAC or general building maintenance would be an advantage.
