We have a vacancy for a Premises Cleaner and we are looking for reliable and committed individuals to work within our existing teams. You must be approachable, professional, flexible and reliable and be a highly motivated individual with a can‑do attitude and be able to work as part of a team as well as working alone.

Role

  • Location: St Giles Academy, Lincoln
  • Contract: Permanent, 16 hours per week (52 weeks a year)
  • Salary Scale: Scale 1, point 3 (£24,796 FTE)
  • Pro Rata Salary: £10,722
  • Closing Date: Midday 10th July 2026

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain high standards using professional domestic and industrial equipment to clean floors, windows, and work surfaces to a specified quality.
  • Ensure safety and hygiene by replenishing essential supplies and strictly following Health and Safety requirements to protect our school community.
  • Care for our site by performing routine equipment checks, managing waste removal, and reporting any maintenance issues or vandalism promptly.
  • Support pupils by monitoring student conduct and intervening when necessary to ensure the safety and well‑being of all visitors and staff.
