We are seeking an enthusiastic, team‑orientated Registered Veterinary Nurse to join our team at St George’s Vets, Wolverhampton on a full-time basis. St George’s Vets is an RCVS Tier 2 accredited VNTP small animal practice with nine sites, offering a varied and rewarding role across a well‑established and collaborative network. You will work across all sites, gaining exposure to a diverse caseload while being part of a supportive and forward‑thinking team. Our hospital is well‑equipped with advanced facilities including endoscopy, ultrasound, dental radiography, a full Idexx laboratory, and orthopaedic kit. How You’ll Make a Difference

As a Registered Veterinary Nurse, you will be an integral member of the clinical team, delivering high‑quality nursing care to patients while supporting excellent client experiences. You’ll work collaboratively with veterinary surgeons and the wider practice team, taking responsibility for the nursing care of a range of first‑opinion cases, contributing to clinical standards, and supporting the ongoing development of patient care within the practice. This is a varied role combining theatre assistance, inpatient care, and nurse consultations, giving you a great balance of hands‑on clinical work and client interaction. You will also be encouraged to contribute ideas and improvements, supporting a culture of innovation and collaboration. This is a full‑time role working 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, with a 1 in 4 Saturday rota. You will work across all nine sites as part of your role.

General responsibilities include:

  • Deliver high standards of nursing care across a varied caseload
  • Support surgical procedures, including anaesthesia monitoring and theatre nursing
  • Provide excellent inpatient care and support patient recovery
  • Run and support nurse consultations, promoting preventative healthcare and client education
