Overview
In this role you lead a newly established Careers and Employability service focused on securing high-quality year-long placements for undergraduate students. You will manage a team to deliver a student-centered service across Schools, shaping placement readiness and meaningful opportunities. You’ll use data to measure impact, drive improvements, and collaborate with academic and professional colleagues to meet objectives. Responsibilities
- lead and develop a team of four Year Placement Officers
- deliver a high-quality, consistent, student-centred service across all Schools
- develop and implement strategies for placement readiness and meaningful opportunities
- ensure key performance indicators and service objectives are met
- use management information and performance data to evaluate impact and drive continuous improvement
- work closely with academic and professional service colleagues to strengthen collaboration
- enhance placement processes and support programmes for a diverse student community
