Airway experienced Staff Nurses Band 5 Adult opportunities - Join St George's Hospital. This will be an excellent opportunity to develop airway management skills, competencies with tracheostomy and laryngectomy care. We are the designated unit for head and neck, ENT & maxillofacial oncology care for St George's.

Caring for our head and neck cancer patients and supporting their families. Post-surgical management of tracheostomy, laryngectomy and head and neck flap. End of life care and post chemotherapy radiotherapy symptom control management and care.
To manage the complex discharge pathway and maintain patient flow. Admission, discharge and ongoing daily holistic care to our head and neck cancer patients with tracheostomy, laryngectomy and major flap. Prioritise the needs and emergency management. Facilitate effective and safe complex head and neck discharges by communicating with MDT.
Work collaboratively with tracheostomy & head and neck CNS. Take charge of the shift to develop leadership skills. Excellent communication and documentation skills. Supervise the junior team and students on placement.
