o Lead, manage, strategically develop and deliver specialist clinical pharmacy (including clinics and hyperacute unit) and medicines optimisation to Anticoagulation and Haemoglobinopathy Services.o To manage the anti-coagulation pharmacisto Provide expert advice on a broad range of pharmaceutical matters. o Plan and deliver specialist training within pharmacy and to the wider multidisciplinary team.o Responsible for the planning and coordination of projects or audits for Anticoagulation and Haemoglobinopathy Services.o Contribute to the strategic planning of the pharmacy department and medicines optimisation according to Hospital Pharmacy Transformation Plan. o Be an active member and contribute to the Hospital Thrombosis and Haemoglobinopathy groups.

The post holder will need to be flexible and organised, be able to align their values with those of the organisation, work well within a team and have a ‘can do’ positive attitude., We are looking for a highly motivated and enthusiastic senior pharmacist to make a difference and ensure the best outcomes for our patients. The post holder will work to ensure the continued provision and development of high quality, comprehensive clinical pharmacy services to patients as well as influence senior managers and clinicians. We will provide the successful candidate with a comprehensive induction covering all aspects of Trust work, support from senior pharmacy staff and an environment to develop further., The successful applicant will enjoy working in a busy challenging environment, be able to manage multiple priorities and deliver against tight deadlines. You will have good communication skills and be an enthusiastic educator. They should possess a postgraduate qualification in clinical pharmacy or equivalent and have the relevant hospital pharmacy experience. Experience of working and influencing in a multi-disciplinary team and an independent prescribing qualification are essential.
