An exciting opportunity has arisen within South West London Pathology based Cellular Pathology at St Georges hospital. We are looking for a highly motivated medical secretary to ensure the provision of comprehensive secretarial and administrative support at a senior level to the Consultant body, Clinical Fellows, Registrars and Advanced Practitioners in the Cellular Pathology Department.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Supporting the Cellular Pathology medical and non-medical staff in the delivery of a high quality diagnostic service.
  • Providing efficient and high quality secretarial and administrative support to the Cellular Pathology consultant team, including all non-medical and junior medical staff.
  • Providing administrative/secretarial support for the perinatal service during periods of high activity and cover in the absence of the perinatal secretary.
  • Working in close co-operation with staff and other health professionals to ensure a first class service.
