Coordinating and delivering a fit testing service across the Trust and traveling to community and satellite sites as required. To ensure that staff who are required to wear tight fitting respirators (re‑usable or single use) are fit tested as per Health and Safety Executive requirements. Inputting FFP3 face fit tests onto trust‑wide databases.
Responsibilities
- Ensure staff who require tight fitting respirators (re‑usable or single use) are fit tested as per Health and Safety Executive requirement.
- Input FFP3 face fit tests onto trust-wide databases.
- Provide comprehensive support to staff being mask fit tested, including adequacy and suitability of tight fitting masks, training on how to use face masks, hoods and other reusable respirators, and guidance on correct handling and storage of PPE.
- Manage fit testing databases and fit tester training.
- Undertake other duties consistent with the responsibilities of the post and as directed by the Matron for infection prevention and control.

Working Hours
The role is full time Monday – Friday across both the Epsom and St Helier sites. Flexible working can be negotiable depending on the needs of the service.
