We have an exciting opportunity to join our Workforce team as a Medical Roster Advisor, playing a key role in a large scale, high-impact medical rostering transformation programme across the group. This is an ideal role for someone looking to be part of a major digital and operational change project. You will work closely with the project lead, clinicians, and operational teams to deliver a modern, efficient rostering service that supports safe staffing, improves productivity, and enhances patient care. This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a large-scale deployment project, build relationships across clinical and corporate teams, and make a tangible impact on how our medical workforce is planned and managed.
Responsibilities
- Support the implementation and ongoing development of the groups medical e-rostering system as part of a major implementation and improvement programme.
- Provide expert day-to-day system support to users, resolving queries and troubleshooting issues quickly and effectively.
- Work closely with rota coordinators, managers, and clinical teams to promote best practice in rostering and optimise workforce planning.
- Analyse rosters to identify risks, improve staffing efficiency, and support safe staffing levels.
- Deliver training and guidance to a wide range of staff to support effective system use.
- Monitor compliance with rostering policies, KPIs, and payroll deadlines, providing advice and escalation where needed.
