Caroline Ward is a dynamic unit that is changing with the increasing demands on the St George\’s Cardiothoracic service, a regional tertiary centre delivering high quality care. Position Summary

Caroline Ward is a 24-bedded thoracic ward. You will be part of the team that looks after patients from the beginning of their surgical journey to the time they are discharged from the ward.

Responsibilities

You will be expected to work independently and support the multidisciplinary team as you provide ongoing patient care throughout admission.

Qualifications

Band 5 staff nurses are required. A minimum of 6 to 12 months experience within an acute healthcare setting is expected, but newly qualified nurses are encouraged to apply. You will be expected to work independently and will be supported in training through our mentorship programme, clinical practice development team, and higher education institutions.
