Are you passionate about making a real difference to the lives of patients living with diabetes? Join us in shaping the future of high-quality care for the communities we serve. You will join our friendly and dynamic team of podiatrists and our podiatry assistant to provide enhanced practice in the assessment, diagnosis and management of complex diabetes-related lower limb conditions.

You will integrate and communicate regularly with our specialty MDT colleagues including diabetes consultants and nurses, infection diseases, vascular surgeons and nurses, orthopaedic surgeons, interventional radiology, psychology and community specialties. You will coordinate and implement holistic care plans in line with MDT support. We will provide structured training and competency sign-off for advanced care therapies which may include treatments such as topical negative pressure therapy and total contact casting.

The service is fully integrated within the hospital which provides several rotational and development opportunities in both outpatient and inpatient settings. The team is committed to service improvement work, recently working with colleagues from across Southwest London to access innovative new treatments for patients with diabetes foot infections.

  • Assess, diagnose and manage complex diabetes-related lower limb conditions in collaboration with the podiatry team and MDT colleagues.
  • Coordinate and implement holistic care plans aligned with MDT support.
  • Participate in training and competency development for advanced care therapies (e.g., topical negative pressure therapy, total contact casting).
  • Contribute to service improvement initiatives and patient care innovations.

Experience in podiatry with interest in diabetes-related foot care and limb conditions. Ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including diabetes consultants, nurses, and other clinicians.
