The main duties of the job are as follows:

  • Providing efficient and high quality administrative support to the respiratory physiology sleep service.
  • Working in close co-operation with staff and other health professionals to support the clinical teams with organising and booking urgent appointments, ensuring that appropriate patients are seen in the appropriate clinic slots and time frame.
  • Ensuring that clinical appointments are booked to capacity by managing cancellation lists, taking phone call enquiries, reminding patients of appointments, and general patient correspondence.
