Responsibilities
- Greet and welcome visitors to the Pre‑Operative Assessment Department in a professional and courteous manner, ensuring access is limited to authorised individuals only.
- Serve as the first point of contact for all enquiries, directing queries and tasks to the appropriate team members as required.
- Accurately enter and update patient and departmental information using relevant computer systems.
- Schedule and confirm patient appointments ahead of their planned surgical procedures.
- Manage appointment changes, including rescheduling patients as needed in line with service requirements.
- Communicate routine information clearly and effectively, both verbally and in writing, with patients, staff, and other internal or external stakeholders.
