The predicted salary is between 22430 - 27414 Β£ per year.
This is a general administration support role which will involve booking appointments, dealing with patient and staff enquiries and reception duties as required.
We are looking for an enthusiastic and capable person to join us in the Radiology department. You will form part of a friendly and supportive team which comprises admin and clerical staff along with Radiologists, Radiographers and nursing staff. The Radiology department spans four different sites: George's Hospital, The Nelson Health Centre, Queen Mary's Hospital, and St Johns Therapy Centre, and you may be required to work at any of these sites.
This post is a full-time role with some out of hours commitments which entail working until 20:00 and occasional Saturdays and Sundays. You need to be flexible and adaptable with good communication skills and a caring nature. You should be a good team worker, but comfortable working independently and using your own initiative.
Qualifications & Training (Essential)
- Educated to GCSE standard (or equivalent)
- Experience of working with VDUs/good keyboard skills
Qualifications & Training (Desirable)
- Experience of Radiology Computer system or similar / NHS Computer System experience (RIS, PACS, iCLIP, PAS, IEP)
Experience (Essential)
- Experience of working in a busy reception environment (or similar role)
- Experience and knowledge of office and administrative procedures
- Experience in a similar setting (Hospital/NHS)
